Broom finish
The classic. A fine textured surface that gives excellent grip in rain, snow and ice. The most affordable finish.

Exposed aggregate
The top layer is washed away to reveal the natural stone underneath. Grippy, hides dirt well and looks great for decades.

Stamped
Patterned and coloured to look like slate, stone or brick, at a fraction of the cost of real pavers.
Best for Patios, pool decks, feature walkways
Smooth trowel
A dense, smooth surface that's easy to sweep and clean. Ideal indoors where traction isn't a concern.

Exterior concrete mixed for Alberta winters. Microscopic air bubbles give freezing water room to expand, so the surface doesn't flake or spall.

FAQ
Common questions.
When's concrete season?
Most exterior work happens from spring through fall, once the ground has thawed. Booking early is the best way to get on the schedule for the dates you want.
How soon can I drive on my new driveway?
Usually you can walk on it the next day and drive a regular vehicle on it after about a week. Concrete keeps gaining strength for roughly a month.
Do you remove old concrete?
Yes. We break out, haul away and dispose of old concrete as part of replacement jobs.
Why does concrete crack, and can you prevent it?
All concrete shrinks as it cures. Control joints are cut in so it cracks where we want it to, in a straight line inside the joint, instead of randomly across the slab.
Do you take on commercial work?
Absolutely. We handle commercial flatwork, slabs and repairs, and we're used to working around open businesses.
